To promote the UK's best Cinema promotion, Hollywood Movie
Money, the team at Mosaic decided to bring a little Hollywood
glamour to sales promotion agencies in London. We ended up having a
grand day out as well as spreading a little superhero magic along
the way. You see, we didn't just hand out a few leaflets and go
home, we went in costume:

Yes, we know what you're thinking - we look like another
campaign by Father's for Justice. Believe me, we heard it all on
our travels:
'Thanks for keeping our streets safe' - metropolitan police
'Dana dana dana dana dana dana dana dana Batman!' - nearly
everyone
'Del Boy, where's Rodney?' - wise-ass builder
'Show off!' - a homeless man who was offended by Batman for some
reason
This was on top of numerous request to have our photo taken with
people, particularly in Leicester Square. We half considered giving
up sales promotion for a life of mock-celebrity on the pavements of
London.
Oh yes, we met a number of the great and good of sales promotion
along the way too, who all received us graciously, if somewhat
bemused:
- Faye Ferriday, Marketing Store Worldwide
- Ed Downey, Steam
- Amanda Williams, Storm Communications
- Mark Whitmore, Swordfish
- Tim Bonnet, Tequila
- Ed Gray, Touchdown
- Myrtle Doyle, Woo Communications
- Simon Cooper, Woolley Pau
- Several, Geronimo
- Several, Elvis
- Several, Initials

Sleuth, the very entertaining column in Promotions &
Incentives had a very interesting take on the day too - and no, we
didn't encourage them!
